You are here: Home » About Us » The People Bob Logan (1939 - 2007) - Founder An insurance professional for over 40 years, Bob Logan founded Logans in the 1960's and developed the niche market of livestock insurance. Logans is now recognised as one of the most successful and largest livestock insurance brokers in the world. Richard holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and post graduate studies in Finance and Insurance from the University of Technology, Sydney. He is a Fellow of the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance and a Certified Insurance Professional. He is a Fellow of the National Insurance Brokers Association of Australia and a Qualified Professional Insurance Broker. Richard has over 20 years insurance brokering experience and has gained further experience in the London and New Zealand insurance markets. He has completed a Masters Degree in Management at the Australian Graduate School of Management and has spoken at various tertiary institutions and professional bodies about horse and livestock insurance. Richard has been involved in planning and implementing the insurance for many of Australia's leading studs, trainers, horse owners, agricultural farms and feedlots.
